Ok, I can't say everything that happened but let me say......please get in shape before you go! There are stairs (and yes elevators and escalators when you can find them) and you walk every where. That said, i really had a blast! Harajuku was fantastic and one of our favorite places! Johnnys store was fun but knd of limited in pictures (i thought they would have more than they did). I bought lots there including the Arashi picture album(they had one for all the main groups). There were several shops along the main street that sold Johnnys stuff! I went to three before we had to leave. One place was down some stairs....you know when you see these shops cause the Johnnys pictures are out front. They even had fan shots from the current tour! Another store the two guys there could not understand me nor i them but we finally learned how to deal with me ordering on their computer system what pictures i wanted them to print. Lol! I even found Arashi pictures, clear files, and stickers at one of the souvenir tables at Tokyo Tower! Tokyo Tower was beautiful! All lite up in Christmas lights and the tower was in different colors. Walked across Shibuya crossing at night and saw the dog statue. Went to Akihabara and played games and found Manadrake store. That has a level set aside for Johnnys groups! I went nuts in there! They even sold Arashi fanfiction/mangas! All the time my sister warning me we still have to get all this on the plane home. Lol!
Now let me talk about buying goods for the concert.....the day of the concert....be there early. The line was already long when we got there about an hour before they started to sell. I have to say it was very orderly and went very quickly.....may have taken about an hour to get to the vendors. They have the items displayed and different tables sold different items. But I got everything on my list. There was another table set up selling DVDs and CDs of Arashi stuff. I bought a few DVDs.
My sister, who went to the concert with four other new friends, said it was no problem getting in and they did not have to show ID at all! They just scanned her friends phone for the tickets and she pointed who was with her. My sister said they did have a cake for Aiba and that they did film it....I just hope they add it on the DVD. She said the twosome and threesome songs were great! They were shown before the concert started by some other girls how to hook up their pin lights so they will be in sync during the concert. They had nose bleed seats but the screen was very large. Her friends had binoculars with them. After the concert they all took Cindy to eat nearby. While she went to the concert I explored Tokyo Dome city and the surrounding area. Found one store that had Arashi posters advertising different products every where outside and inside their store....got lots of pictures. I even bought the little sample packet of hair products Aiba and Jun promote. I really want that Ohno ad poster with the purple hair! Too cute! The day before we went to Chiba with my sisters two friends but could not get into the Aiba family restaurant....too many fangirls. Got pictures of the Christmas tree they had (the animated creature from the drama Aiba did Believe was at the top). And got pictures of his former home at the restaurant. (One of the girls said it was the third floor window.) We did get togo food....went down the street to a real ramen restaurant and split up the take out to eat later. Ramen was great. Anyway, that's the Arashi part of our trip. Jet lag is a drag!
